New Warehouse Completed International Freight Forwarder, Arends International Ltd, is pleased to announce an exciting development at their main site in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside. Established in 1981, the Company has been based in Newton-le-Willows since 1990 when it purchased a 6-acre site with a view to its long-term expansion. The success of the business so far has seen the development of 55,000 sq ft of office and Customs Bonded Warehouse facilities, from where the Company operates a full range of Import & Export services for nationwide customers bringing cargo into or sending it out of the country – by road, sea or air. In order to accommodate increasing demands for storage and distribution services a new development commenced in April this year which will increase Arends’ storage facility by a further 40,000 sq ft. Completion of the high, 9-metre to eaves and fully racked warehouse, is due within the next few weeks. The investment has been made now n order to accommodate current client requirements and also to allow for growth in future years.
